Vancouver, British Columbia - Artha Resources Corporation (TSX.V: AHC) is pleased to provide this update on our proposed exploration activities in Argentina for the coming six month period. Artha has built a strategic portfolio covering over 2,100 square kilometers (Map 1) in a grossly unexplored region in northern Argentina. Artha's exploration program provides an excellent opportunity for the potential discovery of a range of metalliferrous mineral deposits including, silver, gold, copper and rare earth metals. Artha remains focused on continuing to generate targets using modern exploration techniques which until now have not been systematically applied to this part of the world. Results to date show how prospective our portfolio is with all properties justifying follow up work, with some targets drill ready.

2011-2012 PLAN

Artha will focus on five key components in our exploration for the remainder of 2011 and the first six months of 2012.

  1. Completion of Phase 1 drilling at the Ivan Alberto Project which is expected to be finished in late 2011 (Map 2). Assay results are expected in the next two weeks for the next batch of samples, with further results expected soon thereafter. The drilling results will be incorporated into a 3-dimensional geological model which will allow for a better understanding on the controls of the large sheeted vein system and aid in determining additional drilling on the project.

    Key Points
    • Mineralization at surface has been encountered over a total strike length of 4km and over a width of more than 1.5 km.
    • Low grade silver with associated base metals dominates metallic mineralization consistent with surface geochemistry.
    • All veins drilled demonstrate good vertical and lateral continuity with up to 15 veins intersected in individual holes ranging from 0.1m to 2.3m in width.

  2. Phase 1 drilling to begin in early 2012 at the Pirquitas targets (Maps 3 & 4) where two targets have been developed from mapping and ground geophysics. Approvals are being finalised for access so that a camp and roads can be constructed in the next two months.

    Key Points
    • Silver Standard's Pirquitas' Mine has over 190 million ounces of silver in reserves, plus appreciable amounts of tin and zinc.
    • Average grades for the reserve are almost 200g/t silver, making it the largest primary silver mine in Argentina.
    • Artha geology suggests strong potential for finding satellite mineralization along the same fold structures which host Pirquitas. This area has never been previously explored until Artha started work in 2009.
    • Additional detailed surface mapping will be completed prior to and during the drilling to delineate further drill targets.

  3. Phase 1 drilling at Organullo in late 2011 into a very large gold-silver mineralised system which remains largely untested by past explorers (Map 5).

    Key Points
    • Organullo is a relatively advanced project with excellent potential for both high and low sulphidation type epithermal high grade gold and silver as well as bulk tonnage lower grade gold and silver mineralization.
    • Sampling by previous explorers identified a mineralized area of approximately 8-km by 8-km average 0.25 g/t gold.
    • Historic drilling intersected 189 metres of 0.66 g/t gold and 186 metres of 0.50 g/t gold. Previous drilling had very poor recoveries where up to 80% of the sample was lost, suggesting that the assays are potentially under reporting gold and silver content.
    • Broad zones of gold mineralisation identified in Cardero diamond drilling in 2011 included 445m at 0.15 g/t gold with primary targets still untested. Again this drilling had very poor recoveries.

  4. Follow-up detailed mapping on the Susques rare earth properties where reconnaissance mapping identified a number of parallel mulit-kilometre long carbonatite dykes. This work is expected to begin in late 2011.

    Key Points
    • Rare earth mineralization observed to date is hosted in stockwork veins with over 6km in strike length.
    • Recent site visit by Artha's rare earth specialist, Alex Knox, commented;
      • The first two samples (Samples 42869 and 42870, Table 1) are from the first two carbonatites sampled. These have low, for the REE, but are significantly enriched in the heavy REO (12.3 and 18.9% respectively, as a proportion of total combined REE in each sample).
      • The single sample collected from the Patricia dyke (sample number 42871) on the Susques Property is significantly mineralized in REE, within the economic range of values. The proportion of HREO is low (typical of carbonatites in general) but the proportion of neodymium is very high, which is very favourable, as neodymium is the most valuable of the light REE. For example in the Mountain Pass carbonatite, presently being brought back into production, the proportion of neodymium (as a percentage of total REE in the sample) is about 12%, about half of the values obtained from my sampling. If these Nd values stand up in more rigorous sampling, this is a significantly favourable result.
    • Investors should note that the comments above do not represent the entire property and should be considered as indicative only.

  5. Regional target generation and prospecting on our Rosario and Ichaca properties in western Jujuy Province near the Chilean border where recent reconnaissance stream sediment samples has provided targets warranting follow up work. This is due to begin in early 2012.

    Key Points
    • Both Rosario and Ichaca prospects have elevated Au and Ag values in rock chip samples and elevated Au and Ag in the adjacent stream sediments at two locations indicated (Map 6).
    • In this region, stream sediments appear to be delivering interpretable patterns that will assist in detecting mineralized catchments. Further refinement of the stream sediment sampling and analytical methods, as well as data proceeding methods, may produce stronger definition of mineralized catchments and allow some discrimination of primary mineralisation styles.
